I recently moved to Houston to complete my externship requirement for school at a boutique hotel, near the galleria, called Hotel Granduca. However, that was not my driving reason to move back to the big H. I had recently got engaged to Greg Tacquard, who is currently in med school to become a CRNA (he's kinda a big deal). He was more than eager to have me move back and bunk with him and his roommates(who happen to be his parents and my future in laws).
Graduation was truly a bitter sweet moment. My chef instructors ignited a passion for cooking that continues to grow. I met so many amazing people(the fam) who I laughed and learned with, and we all were blessed with an amazing best friend, Jackson Babb, who we lost in a tragic accident. He taught us to live life to the fullest and to not take ourselves so seriously. He was the glue that kept us together and he will never be forgotten.
